1.3.12.2.1.1.1.5  ~~  William Pattenden

William was born in early 1848 (Maidstone 1848 March qtr Volume 5 Page 343) and he was baptised at Holy Trinity church, Maidstone on 7th April 1848. The 1861 census records that William (no occupation is given) was living with his parents at 34 Brewer Street, Maidstone.

1.3.12.2.1.1.1.6  ~~  Ellen Pattenden

Ellen was baptised at Holy Trinity church, Maidstone on 12th June 1850 (Maidstone 1850 June qtr Volume 5 Page 352). The 1861 census records that the school girl was living with her family at 34 Brewer Street, Maidstone. The 1871 census records that Ellen was unmarried and she was living with her parents at 56 Wheeler Street, Maidstone.

Ellen had a daughter before her marriage – Edith (1877).

1.3.12.2.1.1.1.6.1  ~~  Edith Pattenden

Edith was born at Maidstone on 5th September 1877 (Maidstone 1877 December qtr Volume 2a Page ***). She was baptised at St Philip's church, Maidstone on 7th December 1877.

1.3.12.2.1.1.1.7  ~~  Sarah Amelia Pattenden

Sarah was baptised at Holy Trinity church, Maidstone on 29th December 1852 (Maidstone 1852 September qtr Volume 2a Page 379). The 1861 census records that the school girl was living with her family at 34 Brewer Street, Maidstone. The 1871 census records that Sarah was living with her parents at 56 Wheeler Street, Maidstone.

Sarah married George Knight in 1874 (Maidstone 1874 September qtr Volume 2a Page 890). George and Sarah had at least one child – Gertrude (1875). George may have died very soon after his marriage at the age of 24 years (Maidstone 1874 September qtr Volume 2a Page 345). The 1881 census records that their only child was living with Sarah's parents.

1.3.12.2.1.1.1.7.1  ~~  Gertrude Emily Knight

Gertrude was born at Maidstone in 1875 (Maidstone 1875 March qtr Volume 2a Page 618). The 1881 census records that she was staying with her maternal grandparents at 56 Wheeler Street, Maidstone.

1.3.12.2.1.1.2  ~~  Caroline Pattenden

Caroline was born at Boxley on 14th June 1805. She was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 3rd September 1805. Caroline died before 1811 when her name was re-used by her parents.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3  ~~  George Green Pattenden

George was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 24th February 1807. He married his cousin Jane Fowle at Boxley on 22nd August 1832. Jane was born at Boxley on 18th October 1804 the daughter of William Fowle and Mary Pattenden. Jane was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 21st July 1817.

George and Jane had at least four children – Edward (1833), Jane (1836), George (1839) and Jane (1842). The parish register records that George was a master butcher of Maidstone. The 1841 census records that George was a butcher and he and his wife and their eldest surviving son were living at Week Street, Maidstone. Their 20 year old servant Richard Martin was also living with them.

Jane died in 1847 aged 42 years and she was buried at Boxley on 10th March 1847. George then married Helen Maria James at Rochester on 5th June 1848 (Medway 1848 June qtr Volume 5 Page 469); she was born at Maidstone in 1822.

George and Helen had at least one child – George (1849). The 1851 census records that George and his oldest son were butchers and they were living at Week Street, Maidstone. His wife and their infant son were staying with her mother in law Rebecca Ellis at 9 County Place, Maidstone.

There is no further sign of George in any further English census.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1  ~~  Edward Robert Pattenden

Edward was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 31st July 1833. The 1841 census records that the young boy was living with his family at Week Street, Maidstone. The 1851 census records that Edward was a butcher and he was living with his father at Week Street, Maidstone.

Edward married Jane Ann Muncaster at the church of St George the Martyr, Southwark on 29th October 1860; she was born at York in 1840. The 1861 census records that Edward was a butcher and he and his wife were living alone at 4 Shepherds Place, Robert Street, Greenwich.

Edward and Jane had at least two children - Edward (1861) and George (1862). Jane died in 1864, probably from complications arising from childbirth (Greenwich 1864 June qtr Volume 1d Page 419). The 1871 census records that Edward was a widowed butcher and he and his surviving son were boarding at 9 Gales Row, Greenwich.

Edward subsequently married Mary Ann Wilkes at the church of St George the Martyr, Southwark on 15th October 1883 (?). Edward and Mary had at least seven children – Edward (1872), Elizabeth (1875), Alice (1877), William (1878), Annie (1879), Florence (1882) and Robert (1887).

Most of Edward's children died at quite a young age with only three of them reaching adulthood. Edward died at Greenwich in 1902 aged 66 years (Greenwich 1902 December qtr Volume 1d Page 648).

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.1  ~~  Edward George Pattenden

Edward was born at Greenwich on 20th January 1861 (Greenwich 1861 March qtr Volume 1d Page 625). Edward died at Greenwich soon afterwards (Greenwich 1861 March qtr Volume 1d Page 436).

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.2  ~~  George Dorset Pattenden

George was born at Greenwich on 9th April 1862 (Greenwich 1862 June qtr Volume 1d Page 620). The 1871 census records that the school boy was living with his widowed father at 9 Gales Row Greenwich. The 1881 census records that George was employed as a butcher and he was boarding with William Sturts at 48 Bush Road, Rotherhithe.

George died at Camberwell in 1929.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.3  ~~  Edward Robert Pattenden

Edward was born at Greenwich on 28th October 1872 (Greenwich 1872 December qtr Volume 1d Page 848). He married Ada Alice Bradshaw in 1891 (Greenwich 1891 June qtr Volume 2a Page 1247). Edward and Ada had at least two children – Helen (1892) and Ada (1897).

The 1901 census records that Edward was a carman and although he was married he was lodging away from his family at 59 Roan Street, Greenwich. Perhaps he was separated as Edward subsequently married Ellen Eliza Heycox at Ashton registry, Birmingham on 26th October 1912. Edward died at Birmingham in 1941 aged 69 years.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.3.1  ~~  Helen Ada Pattenden

Helen was baptised at Greenwich on 7th December 1892 (Greenwich 1892 December qtr Volume 1d Page 1068). Helen died at Greenwich in 1898 aged only 5 years (Greenwich 1898 December qtr Volume 1d Page 614).

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.3.2  ~~  Ada Marion Pattenden

Ada was baptised at Greenwich on 16th December 1897 (Greenwich 1897 December qtr Volume 1d Page 1151). Ada married Amos E. Scott at Lewisham in 1918. They had at least one child – Irene (1919).

Irene was born at Lewisham in 1919.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.4  ~~  Elizabeth Jane Pattenden

Elizabeth was born at Greenwich in 1875 (Greenwich 1875 September qtr Volume 1d Page 879).

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.5  ~~  Alice Eliza (Emily) Pattenden

Alice was baptised at Greenwich on 21st November 1877 (Greenwich 1877 December qtr Volume 1d Page 988). Alice died at Greenwich in 1878 aged only several months (Greenwich 1878 June qtr Volume 1d Page 563).

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.6  ~~  William Henry James Pattenden

William was baptised at Christchurch, Greenwich on 11th December 1878 (Greenwich 1878 December qtr Volume 1d Page 991). William died at Greenwich in 1882 aged 4 years (Greenwich 1882 December qtr Volume 1d Page 627).

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.7  ~~  Annie Maud Pattenden

Annie was baptised at Christchurch, Greenwich on 10th December 1879 (Greenwich 1879 December qtr Volume 1d Page 1025). Annie died at Greenwich in 1881 aged a bit over 1 year (Greenwich 1881 March qtr Volume 1d Page 616).

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.8  ~~  Florence Pattenden

Florence was baptised at Christchurch, Greenwich on 26th April 1882 (Greenwich 1882 June qtr Volume 1d Page ***). Florence died aged 13 years at Greenwich in 1895.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.1.9  ~~  Robert Walter Pattenden

Robert was born at Greenwich in 1887 (Greenwich 1887 December qtr Volume 1d Page ***). He married Effie Florence Cox at Greenwich in 1913. Robert and Effie had at least four children – Winifred, Charlie, Sylvia and Bernard. Robert died at Greenwich in 1964.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.2  ~~  Jane Pattenden

Jane was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 24th June 1836. Jane died aged 20 months and she was buried at Boxley on 6th February 1838 (Maidstone 1838 March qtr Volume 5 Page 279). Her name was re-used by her parents in 1842.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.3  ~~  George Pattenden

George was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 10th June 1839 (Maidstone 1839 September qtr Volume 5 Page 261). George died aged only two months and he was buried at Boxley on 5th August 1839 (Maidstone 1839 September qtr Volume 5 Page 221).

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.4  ~~  Jane Pattenden

Jane was baptised at Holy Trinity church, Maidstone on 9th October 1842 (Maidstone 1842 December qtr Volume 5 Page 309). Jane married James Hubbard at East Farleigh on 9th April 1872 (Maidstone 1872 June qtr Volume 2a Page 859). Jane and her husband emigrated to the United States of America but Jane died not long afterwards at the age of 32 years. She was buried at Forest Hills, New York in 1875.

1.3.12.2.1.1.3.5  ~~  George Ellis Pattenden

George was baptised at Holy Trinity church, Maidstone on 4th July 1849 (Maidstone 1849 September qtr Volume 5 Page 333). The 1851 census records that the infant and his mother were staying with his maternal grandmother at 9 County Place, Maidstone.

1.3.12.2.1.1.4  ~~  Edward Pattenden

Edward was born at Boxley on 19th July 1808. He was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 22nd August 1808. Edward married Eliza Aldridge at Fridsbury on 25th July 1836; she was born at Rochester in 1815. The couple do not appear to have had any surviving children.

The 1841 census records that Edward was a butcher like his elder brothers and he and his wife were living alone at Union Street, Maidstone.  The 1851 census records that Edward was an omnibus conductor and he and his wife were living at 1 Albany Road, Islington. The 1861 census records that Edward was an omnibus conductor and he and his wife were living alone at 36 Rye Lane, Camberwell.

The 1871 census records that Edward was a butcher and he and his wife were living at 67 Rye Lane, Camberwell. Edward died in 1874 aged 66 years (Camberwell 1874 December qtr Volume 1d Page 526).

1.3.12.2.1.1.5  ~~  Ann Pattenden

Ann was born at Boxley on 1st March 1810. She was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 17th June 1810. Ann probably married Robert Sisley at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 3rd November 1830. The ceremony was performed by Rev'd W. Harrison and the witnesses were Richard and Alice Larkin. There is no surviving record of this couple in any English census.

1.3.12.2.1.1.6  ~~  Caroline Pattenden

Caroline was born at Boxley in 1811. The 1841 census records that Caroline was a spinster and she was living with her widowed father at Benenden Heath Road, Maidstone.

1.3.12.2.1.1.7  ~~  John Pattenden

John was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 3rd January 1813. John died at his home at Sanding Street, Maidstone (near the Army Barracks) aged about 2 ½ years and he was buried at Maidstone on 21st June 1815. His name was re-used by his parents a couple of months later.

1.3.12.2.1.1.8  ~~  John Pattenden

John was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 9th August 1815. There is no surviving record of John in any English census.

1.3.12.2.1.1.9  ~~  Mary Ann Pattenden

Mary was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 11th July 1817.

1.3.12.2.1.1.10  ~~  Henry Thomas Pattenden

Henry was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 17th March 1819. There is no surviving record of Henry in any English census.

1.3.12.2.1.1.11  ~~  Charlotte Pattenden

Charlotte she was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 19th March 1821. Charlotte died at her home near the Maidstone Army Barracks aged 2 months and she was buried at Maidstone on 17th April 1821.

1.3.12.2.1.1.12  ~~  Harriett Pattenden

Harriett was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 9th October 1822. The 1841 census records that Harriett was living with her widowed father at Benenden Heath Road, Maidstone. Harriett married William Brattle at Chatham on 29th January 1843; he was born at Maidstone in 1814.

William and Harriett had at least six children – Harriett (1844), Mary (1846), Henry (1850), Sophia (1854), Alice (1858) and Sophia (1862). The 1851 census records that William was a master tailor and he and his wife and their three children were living at St John Street, Saffron Hill.

The 1861 census records that William was a tailor and he and his wife and their four children were living at East Passage, St Bartholomew's, London. The 1871 census records that William was still a tailor and he and his wife and two of their children were living at 8 Napier Terrace, Mile End.

William died before 1891. The 1891 census records that Harriett was a widowed needle woman and she and her unmarried son were living at 67 Grove Buildings, Mile End Old Town.

1.3.12.2.1.1.12.1  ~~  Harriett Brattle

Harriett was born at Maidstone in 1844. The 1851 census records that the school girl was living with her family at St John Street, Saffron Hills. The 1861 census records that Harriett was an artificial florist and she was living with her parents at East Passage, St Bartholomew's in London.

1.3.12.2.1.1.12.2  ~~  Mary Brattle

Mary was born at Hadlow in 1846. The 1851 census records that the school girl was living with her family at St John Street, Saffron Hills.

1.3.12.2.1.1.12.3  ~~  Henry Brattle

Henry was born at Saffron Hills in 1850. The 1851 census records that the toddler was living with his family at St John Street, Saffron Hills. The 1861 census records that Henry was a 'warehouse lad' and he was living with his family at East Passage, St Bartholomew's in London.

The 1891 census records that Henry was an unmarried printer and he was living with his widowed mother at 67 Grove Buildings, Mile End Old Town.

1.3.12.2.1.1.12.4  ~~  Sophia Brattle

Sophia was born at London in 1854. The 1861 census records that the young girl was living with her family at East Passage, St Bartholomew's in London. Her name was re-used by her parents in 1862.

1.3.12.2.1.1.12.5  ~~  Alice M. Brattle

Alice was born at London in 1858. The 1861 census records that the young girl was living with her family at East Passage, St Bartholomew's in London. The 1871 census records that Alice was an ostrich feather maker and she was living with her parents at 8 Napier Terrace, Mile End.

1.3.12.2.1.1.12.6  ~~  Sophia A. Brattle

Sophia was born at London in 1862. The 1871 census records that the school girl was living with her family at 8 Napier Terrace, Mile End.

1.3.12.2.1.1.13  ~~  Frances Pattenden

Frances was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 2nd December 1824. Frances died at her home near the Maidstone Army Barracks aged about 5 months and she was buried at Maidstone on 15th April 1825.

1.3.12.2.1.1.14  ~~  Richard Joseph Pattenden

Richard was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 10th January 1827. There is no surviving record of Richard in any English census.

1.3.12.2.1.1.15  ~~  Sophia Pattenden

Sophia was born at Maidstone in 1829 and she was baptised at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 19th April 1829. The 1841 census records that the young girl was living with her widowed father at Benenden Heath Road, Maidstone.

Sophia married John Ford at St Dunstan's church, Stepney on 7th September 1854 (Stepney 1854 September qtr Volume 1c Page 891). John was born in the East End of London in 1825. John and Sophia had at least seven children – John (1855), Thomas (1857), Sophia (1858), Edward (1861), Harriett (1863), Alice (1867) and Annie (1871).

The 1861 census records that John was a railway ticket collector and he and his wife and their three eldest children were living at 37 Bolton Street, Stepney. The 1871 census records that John was a railway ticket collector and tobacconist and he and his wife and their seven children were living at 11 High Street, Stepney.

The 1881 census records that John was employed as a railway ticket collector. He and his wife and their two youngest children (none of their five eldest children are recorded anywhere in England) were living at 88 Angel Lane, West Ham in Essex.

The 1891 census records that John was still a railway ticket collector and he and his wife and their youngest daughter were still living at 88 Angel Lane, West Ham. Sophia died in 1893 aged 64 years (West Ham 1893 March qtr Volume 4a Page 64).

1.3.12.2.1.1.15.1  ~~  John Ford

John was born at Aldgate in London in 1855. The 1861 census records that the school boy was living with his family at 37 Bolton Street, Stepney. The 1871 census records that John was a telegraph worker and he was living with his parents at 11 High Street, Stepney.

1.3.12.2.1.1.15.2  ~~  Thomas Ford

Thomas was born at Ratcliff in 1857. The 1861 census records that the young boy was living with his family at 37 Bolton Street, Stepney. The 1871 census records that Thomas was a telegraph worker and he was living with his parents at 11 High Street, Stepney.

Sophia was born at Ratcliff in 1858. The 1861 census records that the young girl was living with her family at 37 Bolton Street, Stepney. The 1871 census records that Sophia was a school girl and she was living with her family at 11 High Street, Stepney.

Edward was born at Ratcliff in 1861. The 1871 census records that Edward was a school boy and he was living with his family at 11 High Street, Stepney.

Harriett was born at Ratcliff in 1863. The 1871 census records that the school girl was living with her family at 11 High Street, Stepney.

Alice was born at Ratcliffe in London in 1867. The 1871 census records that the young girl was living with her family at 11 High Street, Stepney. The 1881 census records that Alice was a school girl and she was living with her parents at 88 Angel Lane, West Ham.

1.3.12.2.1.1.15.7  ~~  Annie Ford

Annie was born at Ratcliffe in 1871. The 1871 census records that the 7 month old infant was living with her family at 11 High Street, Stepney. The 1881 census records that Annie was a school girl and she was living with her parents at 88 Angel Lane, West Ham.

The 1891 census records that Annie was unmarried and she was living with her parents at 88 Angel Lane, West Ham.

1.3.12.2.1.2  ~~  Ann Jane Pattenden

Ann was baptised at St Mary's church, Sutton Vallence on 19th January 1786.

1.3.12.2.1.3  ~~  Sarah Pattenden

Sarah was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 17th July 1787.

1.3.12.2.1.4  ~~  Margaret Pattenden

Margaret was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 17th June 1789. Margaret married Richard Miller by licence at All Saints' church, Maidstone on 23rd March 1811.

1.3.12.2.1.5  ~~  Ann Pattenden

Ann was baptised at Boxley on 13th April 1791.

1.3.12.2.1.6  ~~  John Pattenden

John was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 10th January 1795.

1.3.12.2.1.7  ~~  Mary Pattenden

Mary was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 24th April 1798.

1.3.12.2.1.8  ~~  William Pattenden

William was baptised at All Saints' church, Boxley on 1st February 1802. William married Eleanor Castle at St Pancras in London on 15th June 1831. Eleanor was born at East Sheen, Surrey in 1807. The 1841 census records that William was a butcher and he and his wife were living at Union Street, Maidstone. At that stage the couple had no surviving children.

Eventually, William and Eleanor had at least two children – William (1847) and Eleanor (1848). William died before 1861. The 1861 census records that Eleanor was a widowed fairy woman and she and her two children were living at The Dairy, Mortlake in Surrey.

The 1881 census records that Eleanor was living with her daughter and son in law, George and Eleanor Simpson, at 16 Hargrave Road, London. Eleanor probably died before 1901.

1.3.12.2.1.8.1  ~~  William Pattenden

William was born at Maidstone in 1847 (Maidstone 1847 March qtr Volume 5 Page 342). He was baptised at Boughton Monchelsea on 6th June 1847. The 1861 census records that the school boy was living with his widowed mother at The Dairy, Mortlake.

1.3.12.2.1.8.2  ~~  Eleanor Jane Pattenden

Eleanor was born at East Sheen, Surrey in 1848 (Richmond S 1848 December qtr Volume 4 Page 424). She was baptised at Mortlake, Surrey on 26th November 1848. The 1861 census records that the school boy was living with his widowed mother at The Dairy, Mortlake.

Eleanor married George Harris Simpson at Marylebone in 1870 (Marylebone 1870 December qtr Volume 1a Page 934); he was born at Marylebone in 1843. The 1871 census records that George was a show card printer and he and his wife and their servant girl were living at 8 Strathdon Villas, Hammersmith.

George and Eleanor had at least four children – Archibald (1872), Florence (1874), Grace (1881) and Ethelberta (1883). The 1881 census records that George was employed as a ticket writer and he and his family were living at 16 Hargrave Road, London. Also living with them was George's widowed mother in law Eleanor Pattenden.

The 1891 census records that George was a ticket writer and he and his wife and their three children were living at 245 Tottenham Court Road, St Giles in London. The 1901 census records that George was a "shop window ticket writer" and he employed staff. He and his wife and their four children were living at 59 Schubert Road, Wandsworth.

1.3.12.2.1.8.2.1  ~~  Archibald George Simpson

Archibald was born at St Pancras in 1872 (Pancras 1872 December qtr Volume 1b Page 26). The 1881 census records that Archibald was a school boy and he was living with his parents at 16 Hargrave Road, London. The 1891 census records that Archibald was an apprentice ticket writer and he was living with his parents at 245 Tottenham Court Road, St Giles in London.

The 1901 census records that Archibald was unmarried and he was employed as a shop window ticket writer – probably by his father. He was living with his parents at 59 Schubert Road, Wandsworth.

1.3.12.2.1.8.2.2  ~~  Florence Gertrude Simpson

Florence was born at St Pancras in 1874 (Pancras 1874 June qtr Volume 1b Page 148). The 1881 census records that Florence was a school girl and she was living with her parents at 16 Hargrave Road, London. The 1891 census records that Florence was living with her parents at 245 Tottenham Court Road, St Giles in London.

The 1901 census records that Florence was unmarried and she was living with her parents at 59 Schubert Road, Wandsworth. No occupation is recorded for her.

1.3.12.2.1.8.2.3  ~~  Grace E. Simpson

Grace was born at Holloway in about April 1881. At the time of the census of that year she was one month old and as yet un-named. The 1891 census records that the school girl was visiting Maria Cherry at 28 Victoria Road, Hornsey.

The 1901 census records that Grace was employed as a shorthand and typewriter clerk. She was living with her parents at 59 Schubert Road, Wandsworth.

1.3.1.2.2.1.8.2.4  ~~  Ethelberta Simpson

Ethelberta was born at Holloway in about 1883 (Islington 1883 December qtr Volume 1b Page 238). The 1891 census records that the school girl was living with her family at 245 Tottenham Court Road, St Giles in London. The 1901 census records that she was living with her parents at 59 Schubert Road, Wandsworth. No occupation is recorded for her.

1.3.12.2.2  ~~  Jane Webb

Jane was born at Rochester on 8th November 1759 and she was baptised at St Nicholas' church, Rochester on 2nd December 1759. Jane married Thomas Baldock at Bearsted on 12th December 1777. Thomas was a miller of Bearsted. Jane and Thomas had five children – Thomas (1781), William (1785), Jane (1787), George (1791) and Ann (1798).

There is no record of any of this family in any English census.

Thomas was born at Gillingham and he was baptised at St Mary's church, Chatham on 25th November 1781.

1.3.12.2.2.2  ~~  William Baldock

William was born at Gillingham and he was baptised at St Mary's church, Chatham on 3rd March 1785. William's grandfather bequeathed him 10 pounds so that he could be apprenticed out.

1.3.12.2.2.3  ~~  Jane Baldock

Jane was born at Gillingham and she was baptised at St Mary's church, Chatham on 15th March 1787.

1.3.12.2.2.4  ~~  George Baldock

George was born at Gillingham and he was baptised at St Mary's church, Chatham on 5th July 1791.

1.3.12.2.2.5  ~~  Ann Baldock

Ann was born at Gillingham and she was baptised at St Mary's church, Chatham on 6th February 1798.

1.3.12.2.3  ~~  Ann Webb

Ann was born at Rochester on 28th January 1761. She married George Greene at St Saviour's church, Southwark in Surrey on 9th October 1779. George was born in about 1760 and he was a farmer of Stockbury in Kent.

George and Ann had eight children – George (1792), William (1781), John (1782), David (died 1793), Robert (1794), Henry (1795), Mary (1797) and Francis (1798). George and Ann may have had at least one other child Jesse (1791) who was buried at Boxley on 18th July 1843 aged 52 years.

George died aged about 42 years and he was buried at Stockbury on 8th February 1802. Anne died sometime after 1830. There is no sign of any of their sons in any English census.

1.3.12.2.3.1  ~~  George Greene

George was baptised at Holy Cross church, Bearsted in Kent on 31st January 1780. He died aged 12 years and he was buried at Stockbury on 17th December 1792.

William was baptised at Holy Cross church, Bearsted on 30th April 1781.

1.3.12.2.3.3  ~~  John Greene

John was baptised at Holy Cross church, Bearsted on 8th May 1782.

1.3.12.2.3.4  ~~  David Greene

David died at an unknown age, possibly in infancy, and he was buried at Stockbury on 3rd May 1793.

1.3.12.2.3.5  ~~  Robert Greene

Robert was baptised at the church of St Mary Magdalene, Stockbury on 28th February 1794.

1.3.12.2.3.6  ~~  Henry Greene

Henry was baptised at the church of St Mary Magdalene, Stockbury on 8th December 1795.

1.3.12.2.3.7  ~~  Mary Greene

Mary was baptised at the church of St Mary Magdalene, Stockbury on 30th May 1797.

1.3.12.2.3.8  ~~  Francis Greene

Francis was baptised at the church of St Mary Magdalene, Stockbury on 6th October 1798. He died several weeks later and he was buried at Stockbury on 2nd December 1798.
